Duplication Abroñigal Collector B is a collector that runs parallel to the M-30 and the old collector B, from Dr. Garcia Tapia Avenue to the Bridge of the Three Eyes and it has a total length of 2,561 m.

TBM Tunnel executed.

The total length of duplication built by TBM excavation is 2,398.86 m. The outside diameter of excavation of the tunnel is 3.95 m and the lining up of rings of prefabricated concrete segments of 1.20 m length and 0.20 m thick.

Connection with the old collector

The connection between the old collector B and collector B Duplicate built with TBM is designed to drain up to 19 m3 / s flow to the new sewer tunnel and avoid suffering the old collector load. This is a very innovative solution in design and construction. The connection is a circular enclosure of 35 m and 12.40 m internal diameter, which it works as well collector ridge between the old and the new collector.
